Our clients typically pay retainers and fees by check or wire transfer as we bill them. Checks should be made payable to Donenfeld Law, A Legal Professional Association, and may be mailed to our Boulder, Colorado office. If you prefer to pay by wire transfer, please email or call us, and we will provide you with wire transfer instructions. We will bear our bank’s charges for wire transfer services.

We also accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, as well as debit cards (with the Visa or MasterCard logo). Payment confirmations are sent for credit card charges to the email address provided on the authorization form. Credit card processing is securely provided by LawPay, which serves law firms nationally and is endorsed by the American Bar Association.

Please Call us at 303.482.1800 if you have any questions about how to pay by credit card.

Please note that sending us funds via a credit card payment or by any other manner does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and us or any duty of care by us to you. The formation of an attorney-client relationship with us requires our prior satisfaction of multiple factors, including resolution of possible conflicts of interest, an appropriate fee arrangement and mutual agreement on the terms of the engagement, which will be confirmed in writing. We assume no responsibility for any statutes of limitations or other deadlines relating to any matters or claims or potential matters or claims prior to our being formally engaged pursuant to a written agreement.
